Annual General Assembly 2014

The first General Assembly of COSELMAR took place on the 7th and 8th of April at the IFREMER Nantes.

The first day was for the General Assembly itself, along with a scientific conference by Vanda Brotas (expert-appraiser of the project) and a presentation by Mounira Harzallah on the Ontology approach which will be used for the integration platform. The conference of Vanda Brotas (from the University of Lisbon) was entitled "From global ocean to estuary, from satellite to microscope: research on Phytoplankton of the University of Lisbon."

It was also the opportunity to reflect on the work carried out in each axis of the project and to put forward the objectives for the coming year.

The 8th of April concerned mostly the Evaluation and Diffusion Committee of the project. The committee comprised of the Directing committee and external observers like Bio-littoral, Atlanpôle, SMIDAP, Région Pays de la Loire, Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique et DIRM Nord Atlantique.

In the afternoon, a workshop on ontology was scheduled. The workshop, led by Mounira Harzallah, was an occasion to brainstorm on the ontology approach.
