Research meeting between Québec and France

Researchers from COSELMAR

Tous dans le même bateau was the theme of a public meeting organised by researchers from Québec and France on the 12th of June 2014 on the Magdalen Islands in Canada. The aim was to meet and discuss about current challenges. 

This meeting originated from a collaboration between various partners from the ZIP Comittee, the University of Quebec in Rimouski, the Ecole Nationale Admnistration Publique, the Université de Nantes and with the support of the Commission Permanente de Coopération Franco-Québécoise (POLDER Programme) and COSELMAR (Pays de la Loire & IUML).

The event was part of a bigger one : the Saint-Laurent week. Its second edition took place from the 6th to the 15th of June, with the purpose of promoting the Saint-Lawrence River, its importance, its vulnerabilities and the ongoing relationships that exist between the local populations and the river.
